This autumn, we live into communion by helping support those in our community.
There are many ways your donations can make a difference.
Fairmount’s Little Food Pantry – Thanksgiving Donation Drive
Fairmount’s Little Food Pantry continues to serve many families in our community and we need YOUR help! During this season of Thanksgiving, let’s come together and live into communion to support our community through donations to our Little Food Pantry. Throughout the month of November, we will be collecting non-perishable food and personal care items. Please place all donation items in the bins located on the stage in Anderson Hall. Suggested donation items include: cereal, boxed milk, canned vegetables and fruit, peanut butter, jelly, soups, shampoo, deodorant, and diapers.
Your kindness and generosity help make a real difference. Thank you for your continued support!
A Message to Fairmount from the Juvenile Justice Center
Judge Anne C. McDonough sends you her warmest thanks for all of the gently used clothing, shoes and children’s & teen books you have given to the Community Closet. Donations of these are always welcome. Other items such as bedding, toys or adult books are not needed. She appreciates you! For more info. contact Mary Giffin at marygffin@att.net.
Support the Cleveland Ronald McDonald House
The Sisterhood of Service Fellowship (SOS) is sponsoring an ongoing collection of pull tabs from soda pop, soup, pet food and other canned goods. The Cleveland Ronald McDonald House staff works with a local recycler to turn those tabs into money. The money from the recycled pull tabs goes into their Family Fund, which gives families staying at the Ronald McDonald House special moments of normalcy and joy, such as birthday gifts, trips to the hair salon and anniversary dinners. Specially marked containers will be placed in in the main office and the kitchen counter for the collection of these tabs. An SOS member will deliver the collected pull tabs to the Ronald McDonald House.
