Fairmount is literally shining with energy! Since our new solar panel system went live on July 3rd, it has already generated an impressive 19.6 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean electricity.
That’s even better than we hoped — when the system was installed, we expected to produce about 32 MWh per year, and we’ve already reached over half that total in just 3½ months! Thanks to a super sunny summer and an unusually bright September, Fairmount’s solar power is off to an incredible start.
