Faith-Based Suicide Prevention Trainings

Over the summer, Lisa Nester became a certified trainer for the Soul Shop Movement, a faith based program that helps equip church members and leaders with the skills necessary to minister to those affected by suicidal desperation. She will be leading two training workshops in the coming months and all are invited to attend – mark your calendars.

• Sunday October 18th from 9:00am-10:30am – “Soul Shop for Congregations”, a brief overview of the Soul Shop content for all church goers.
• Saturday, November 7th from 8:30am-4:00pm – Soul Shop for Church Leaders, a full day training designed for those in positions of leadership in the church but open to all. FREE, but registration is required – form coming soon.
