Prayer Shawl Ministry

Creation of loving prayer shawls for people needing the warm arms of concern wrapped around them – that’s the mission of the Fairmount Presbyterian Shawl Ministry.

Care and love of knitting and crochet have been combined in a prayerful ministry that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace. Many blessings are knitted into every shawl.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets the 3^rd Wednesday of the month, beginning with prayer in the Sanctuary at 1:30pm, then moving into the Chilcote Room to lovingly knit and crochet the shawls.
