The stories of Genesis–the very first book in the Bible–are foundational to understand what follows. Whether the “pre-historical” stories of Genesis originated from any actual history or they’re purely folkloric tales crafted to teach about God and our origins, they are vital to our faith. In this Bible study, we will read through the stories of Genesis together. But we won’t just read one version. We’ll compare a few different translations, along with a modern theological reinterpretation of the stories, as together we ask : What are these stories really about?
