A Time to Break Silence” – Christian Discipleship and Social Movements

You are invited to a weekly series of discussions based on some key documents of the modern Christian church. The six-part series runs through Sunday, February 22nd. The discussions will focus on Christian discipleship in a variety of contexts around the globe. This coming Sunday, January 25th, we will focus on the Barmen Declaration of 1934. Sunday, February 1st will focus on the Confession of 1967. Over the course of this series we will look at, the Medellin Conference statement of 1968, the Belhar Confession (1982), and finally, Dr. King’s address A Time to Break Silence of April, 1967. The links to the publications are below Hard copies will be available in the Church’s office.
