Homeless Stand Down and Shoe Collection

Consistent with our Mathew 25 commitments, we are supporting the Business Volunteers Unlimited “Homeless Stand Down,” being held April 23^rd at First Energy Stadium.   This is the 31^st anniversary of the event focused on providing respite and resources to those experiencing homelessness in our community.  Our contribution to the effort is to collect and donate shoes and socks!  We are looking for new and gently worn shoes, ranging from athletic shoes, casual shoes, work boots, men’s, women’s and kids sizes, plus socks.  This program is a great way for all of us to clean out our closets a bit while providing a needed service to our community.   Time is short, we have until April 8^th to make our shoe and sock contribution!   We will have a collection point right inside the back door to the church (Narthex), so bring what you can.  We will also be collecting on Sunday April 3^rd.  If you have any questions, please call Todd Imbler at 216-789-3814 or contact Christine in the office
