SUMMARY:Undoing Conquest
DESCRIPTION:Undoing Conquest\, invites congregations\, pastors\, and other interested folks into a 4-week online journey (Oct. 9th-30th) that provides a new understanding of ancient biblical traditions and can help progressive Christians reimagine the church and transform our communities. You’ll explore new scholarship about the early Hebrew people and what it means for church today and you’ll discover a plan for integrating justice into liturgy. The primary goal of the course is to start a process for churches to begin to acknowledge the sins of the past\, seek reconciliation and repair\, and in turn imagine more just ways of building community. \nCourse details:\nFour live zoom sessions led by Dr. Kate Common\nSundays\, Oct. 9th\, 16th\, 23rd\, & 30th from 7-8:30 EST \nCost:\n $89 for individuals and $49 for groups\, clergy\, and seminarians.
